Great Master Huang Sheng Shyan was born in 1910 in Minhou County of the Fujian province in China. At the age of 14, he began his life-long career into the Martial Arts by learning Fujian White Crane. In 1947, he resettled in Taiwan where be became a disciple of Cheng Man-Ching.
Master Huang had honored and devoted all his times and efforts
in research and development of Tai Chi Quan over 60 years. His undisputed
devotion has leaded us today's practice method.
Master Huang introduced Tai Chi Quan into Singapore, Malaysia, New Zealand and Australia. Master Huang brought Tai Chi Quan to the state of Sarawak in Malaysia in 1950s. From 1970s onwards, Master Huang spread the art to Peninsula Malaysia.
1970s, in order to collect charity fund for forming old folks home, the 60 years old Master Huang again demonstrated his abilities in Taichi by defeating Liao Guang Cheng, the 45 years old Asian Champion Wrestler, 26 throws to 0, in Kuching Malaysia.
By the time of his death in December 1992, he had established 40 schools and taught 10,000 people throughout South East Asia.
